Then and Now: The History of Hearing Aids. Drew the Archivist and his assistant, Werd describes the evolution of hearing aids across the time including a theory on prehistoric hearing aid using a mammothís tusk for deaf people to hear. During the Renaissance times, deaf people use different kinds of trumpet to hear sounds even a pipe was used to put in a personís ear so people can talk to it. Pictures of various kinds of devices are shown including an early version of phonic ear system and cochlear implants.
