DPN 1988 - Documentary interview with Bridgetta Bourne 2 of 2

Bridgetta Bourne explains about how she felt like the experience during the Deaf President Now movement, there is no classes that will ever provide the same learning experience that she went through at that time. Bridgetta reminiscences on the night all four leaders celebrated with Gallaudet students when the four demands were met. Bridgetta mentioned that when the DPN movement was over, there was more deaf people wanting to enter Gallaudet University as a student. Bridgetta tells of her family tree of deaf families. Bridgetta shares that with the media exposure on the DPN movement helped ple to get their needs met at where they work, and helped the hearing people to be more aware about who deaf people are. `
